| About the Aircraft: The Kaman HOK-1 first flew in 1953 in last year of the Korean War. The HOK was the first helicopter designed to military specifications and the Kaman Huskie was a modification of the HOK. The HOK was powered by Pratt & Whitney reciprocating engines. Kaman produced 105 HOK/HUK helicopters that were flown by the US Marines and US Navy for medical evacuation, observation and training missions. |
